Armenia in winter is incredibly beautiful — snowy landscapes, warm hospitality, cozy city corners, and a festive atmosphere everywhere you go. Yerevanin winter becomes especially charming: street lights, decorations, snow-covered views, and lively squares make the capital feel magical. Winter holidays in Yerevan are very popular among tourists from CIS countries and beyond, and if you’re wondering what to see in Yerevan in winter, this tour is a perfect choice.
1. Our tour begins with the Cascade Complex, one of the main landmarks of the capital and a must-visit place during winter. You can go up the Cascade, where our professional guide will tell you about its history and architecture. From the upper platform, you can enjoy a breathtaking winter view of the Biblical Mount Ararat — often covered in snow at this time of year.
2. Then we will take a short walk to Seasons Park Station (Malibu Park) where this 45-day winter wonderland opens on December 1, bringing the magic of Christmas through its unique atmosphere, festive pavilions, concerts, and events. Featuring over 38 pavilions, Seasons Park Station offers a blend of entertainment and shopping, showcasing well-known Armenian brands alongside a wide variety of delicious food and beverages.
3. After that, we will head to Swan Lake, where the atmosphere becomes truly festive in winter. People come here for ice skating in Armenia, seasonal decorations, and many winter activities. It’s a favorite spot for families, couples, and anyone looking to enjoy winter fun in Yerevan.
4. Next, we will visit Republic Square, which has repeatedly been listed among the most beautiful squares in the CIS and the world. In winter, it becomes even more magical, as the country’s main Christmas tree stands here, surrounded by bright lights, decorations, and festive installations. It’s the perfect place for beautiful holiday photos.
5. After the city tour, we will continue to the Winter Park — one of the best winter entertainment spots in Yerevan. It is the largest open-air ice rink in Armenia, with an area of 1,800 square meters. Here you’ll find cafés, restaurants, shooting ranges, attractions, and various types of winter fun. Christmas here feels truly magical. Families with children especially enjoy visiting the Santa House, where a warm, festive atmosphere awaits. Santa Claus greets children, elves perform shows, there are musicals, fireworks, and many surprises. This year, Santa will fly over the Winter Garden to congratulate everyone on the New Year.
