If you want to know how the ancient traditions of winemaking are being revived in Armenia, be sure to include a visit to the Manukyan winery on your route. This family-owned company began its history in 2016 with an ambitious goal: to connect the heritage of Armenian wine culture with modern European technology.
The core of the Manukyan Wine philosophy is not just the production of wine, but the careful preservation of authenticity. They use exclusively local endemic grape varieties—Voskehat and Areni. These unique varieties are not found anywhere outside Armenia and have retained their original genetics, unlike many common international types.

Wine is born here through deep scientific research, delicate work with raw materials, and strict adherence to the highest quality standards, which have remained unchanged since the founding of the winery, despite the growing demand.
During the tour, you can walk through the vineyards, learn about the intricacies of grape picking and processing, get acquainted with the fermentation and aging process, and of course, taste wine with rich flavor and aroma—unchanged thanks to the consistency of the raw material base.
