Exploring Yerevan with children doesn’t have to mean taking them on an Number of People sightseeing tour and hoping they stay interested. This private family tour is designed around places children can actually enjoy, combining animals, interactive experiences, optical illusions and sweet treats in one relaxed day.
The program lasts approximately 5–6 hours and can be adapted to your children’s age, interests and energy level. Since the tour is private, you can spend more time at the places your family enjoys most and keep the day comfortable for both children and parents.
1. The first stop is Yerevan Zoo, home to more than 120 species of animals and birds from Armenia and other parts of the world. The zoo gives children a chance to discover wildlife at their own pace and also hosts educational activities and programs throughout the year.
For visitors aged 3-69 – 2000 AMD, on MONDAY 1 000 AMD
2. Next, stop at Grand Candy Ponchikanots, one of Yerevan’s best-known places for freshly made ponchiks and Armenian sweets. Grand Candy is Armenia’s largest confectionery producer and is also known for setting a Guinness World Record in 2010 for producing what was then the world’s largest chocolate bar. It’s an easy and enjoyable break between the day’s activities.
3. The final main stop is the Museum of Illusions, where optical illusions, interactive exhibits and unusual visual effects turn the visit into something children can explore rather than simply observe. It’s a playful experience with plenty of opportunities for unusual family photos and is entertaining for both children and Number of People.
Additionally, upon request, we can organize a dessert master class at Pinkberry, where children can create their own dessert by choosing flavors and toppings. It can be added to the itinerary for families who would like another hands-on activity.
Because this is a private family tour, the itinerary can be adjusted upon request. Let us know your children’s ages and interests when booking, and we can adapt the pace and activities accordingly.
Why Choose This Family Tour?
This isn’t a standard Yerevan sightseeing tour with a few child-friendly stops added to the itinerary. The day is planned around children from the beginning, balancing activities, breaks and entertainment so parents can enjoy the experience too.
All private tours can be customized upon request.

Optional lunch at a family-friendly restaurant with a children's menu in central Yerevan.
Step into a world where things are not always what they seem. Optical illusions, interactive exhibits and unusual visual effects encourage children to experiment, take photos and become active participants rather than simply observe. It’s a playful stop that works particularly well after the more traditional zoo visit.
A relaxed walk through central Yerevan finishing at Pinkberry or Ponchik-Monchik - the city's most popular spots for ice cream and treats - a fitting end to a sweet day.
