Lake Parz is situated in Dilijan National Park, in the Tavush region,a 2-hour drive from Yerevan.
Lake Parz, translated as “Clear Lake” or “Pure Lake,” is located at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level and is surrounded by dense, forested hills. It is a natural lake formed by tectonic and geological shifts in this region.
It is, in fact, a small lake with an area of 300 square meters. Its maximum length is 385 meters, width 85 meters, and maximum depth is 5 meters.




Once you reach this place, you can do several activities such as boating, which is available for rent. The lake is connected to well-known trails, so hiking is also very popular here.
For the adventurous ones, a zip line runs right over the lake, and for those seeking peace, there are cafés and picnic areas around the lake.
The surrounding forest is rich with birds, squirrels, foxes, and occasionally deer.
The air is cool, especially in summer, making it a perfect retreat from the heat of Yerevan.
