Kievyan Bridge is one of the main transport arteries of Yerevan, stretching over the scenic Hrazdan Gorge. It connects Kievyan Street to several major districts like Arabkir, Ajapnyak, and Malatia-Sebastia.

Designed by renowned Armenian architect Grigor Agababyan, the bridge was built between 1950 and 1959. It’s 364 meters long, 26 meters wide, and stands nearly 60 meters tall at its highest point, making it one of the longest and tallest bridges in the capital.

Constructed with reinforced concrete and fitted with solid cast-iron railings, the bridge was designed to last—and indeed, decades later, it still handles heavy traffic with ease. But it’s not just practical—it’s also beautiful. The views of the gorge from the bridge, especially at sunset, are absolutely worth a stop if you’re exploring the city on foot.
