The history of Armenia’s oldest brandy, ARARAT, began more than 130 years ago — in 1887, when the first brandy production was established in Armenia. The pioneering spirit of its founders, Nerses and Vasily Tairyan, has guided the brand throughout its history: from creating the first vintage brandy to achieving international recognition at the 1902 World Exhibition in France, the homeland of cognac.
