1. Our first stop is the resort city of Tsaghkadzor, which name translates to “Canyon of Flowers.” It is located in the Kotayk region, at an altitude of 1,800 meters above sea level. In winter, it’s known as a ski resort, while in summer it becomes a mountain getaway — a place to escape the heat of Yerevan. The city is about 30 minutes drive from the capital.
2. The next stop is the medieval Kecharis Monastery, founded in the 11th century and received its final architectural form during the reign of the Proshyan family in the 13 th century.
3. Then we will reach Mount Teghenis by cable car, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Tsaghkadzor. At the top, you will have time to take photos, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and admire the scenery before heading back down.

Your private driver and guide meet you at your hotel in Yerevan. The drive to Tsaghkadzor takes approximately one hour through the scenic Kotayk region. Tsaghkadzor translates from Armenian as the Valley of Flowers — a name that makes perfect sense the moment you arrive.
Begin at the beautiful Kecharis Monastery complex in the north-western part of Tsaghkadzor. Built between the 11th and 13th centuries, this medieval monastic complex includes four churches and the mausoleum of Grigor Pahlavuni who financed the original construction. Your guide will explain the history and architecture of this significant religious and educational center.
Board the cable car at the base of Mount Teghenis and ascend to 2,819 meters above sea level in approximately 32 minutes across five stations. From the summit the entire Armenian highland opens before you — mountains, valleys, and on clear days, the shimmering surface of Lake Sevan and the snow-capped peak of Mount Ararat. In summer the slopes are green and flower-covered. In winter they are buried in snow. Both are unforgettable.
Optional lunch at a mountain restaurant in Tsaghkadzor with warm Armenian food and fresh mountain air. Can be added in Extras when booking.
