Yerevan is such a wonderful city! We especially loved our visit to the Ararat Brandy Factory — it was perfect. The tour was interesting, the tasting was amazing, and we enjoyed it so much.

noisy Yerevan
This city has become really noisy. I love Yerevan, I truly do, but oh my God — compared to our last visit six or seven years ago, it feels much louder. And the traffic… it’s definitely better to stay in the city center and walk everywhere, because driving is just awful. But I really appreciated the way Happy Holidays organized everything for us — they knew exactly what time was best to leave, so we could avoid the worst of the traffic. I highly recommend taking private tours, so you can fully enjoy your trip.
Our guide was so funny, and we really enjoyed the city through his stories and legends. We had so much fun! Of course, after visiting the Genocide Museum we felt a bit sad — it’s heartbreaking to see the pictures and hear about everything the Armenian people went through. But later we visited the Matenadaran and Vernissage Market, which really cheered us up. Vernissage was especially great for shopping for unique Armenian crafts and antiques. I enjoyed it very much!
Всем любителям истории. Конечно, всегда тяжело смотреть на мемориалы, связанные с геноцидом, Холокостом и подобными трагедиями. Но если вы хотите по-настоящему понять этот город, обязательно посетите Музей геноцида армян и Матенадаран — там хранится самая маленькая книга в мире. Меня особенно впечатлил Матенадаран, а в музее я даже прослезилась. Всё-таки я очень рекомендую такой тур.

Я очень люблю Ереван и Армению. Здесь у меня родственники, и я иногда их навещаю. Особенно во время праздников город словно преображается. Но должна заметить, что цены по сравнению с двухлетней давностью ужасно выросли — наверное, процентов на 30. Сейчас здесь уже дороговато, но я всё же живу у родственников, поэтому на отель тратиться не приходится. А город остаётся моим любимым: в этот раз мы с ними взяли индивидуальный тур, и я просто наслаждалась Ереваном.
